I LOVE Asian Pears….they’re perfect! Crisp, refreshing, not overly sweet….yum!
We have two trees in our backyard that are completely full…if you live in the Bay Area, drop me a note and we’ll figure out a way to get you some.
One of my favorite ways of eating these is with a pinch of salt and red chilli powder… unripe mangos and apples also taste good like this.

Asian Pears kissed with Salt and Red Chili Powder
- 1 Asian Pear, de-seed and cut into 8 slices
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of red chili powder
DIRECTIONS for cooking
- Place cut fruit on plate and sprinkle with salt and red chili powder.
- Totally vegan!

- Totally gluten-free!

- Pears are tridoshic….so enjoy! If you have an overly Pitta constitution then you might want to skip the red chili powder.
