Dear Friends,
Happy October! I can’t thank you all enough for such an awesome response to my #100 Day Project Exhibit! The online connections and heartfelt emails this week have really meant the world to me! I hope my daily posts weren’t too much :)…but truly provided a little glimpse into the making of my #100 pieces and just how fun and intense those days were!
My favorite time of the year has arrived and I LOVE it!
I don’t know about your neck of the woods, but the days here have definitely gotten a little shorter and a little cooler and the leaves are starting to change colors and sprinkle themselves like confetti along the sidewalks.
Between a busy summer and a hectic September, I am looking forward to a quieter October. My to do list is pretty simple, I’m looking forward reflecting on the past few months and tallying up my blessings—because I know the list is long! I’m definitely looking forward to more walks with my hubby so that we can drink in the crisp fall air (now that the summer time, “melt you in less than 5 minutes” humidity is over here in Northern Virginia). And more than anything, I’m looking forward to enjoying my daily happy hour (my meditation & yoga practice) with a little less rush hour traffic going on in my mind :).
And, oh I can’t forget to add, one of these weekends, I’m looking forward to a cool rainy day, where I can linger a little longer in bed, snuggled under the covers.
What about you?

My favorite part of fall is leaf hunting! I especially like cherry tree leaves, because not only are their colors beautiful, they are thick and don’t dry out or curl up like other leaves do. Yes, I pick them up and save them (just a few!) I also love looking at the bright colors too. Fall leaves are the season’s last show before winter sets in!
Leaf Hunting, that brilliant, I love that you call it that!! I will definitely have to keep an eye out for cherry tree leaves this year :)….and yes, I agree about fall and it’s beauty…it’s like none other :)!
