Hello all!
Well, I leave for India this weekend and boy, am I excited! I have not been to India since 2006 and I know so much has changed….for the country as well as for myself :). This will be the first time my family in India will meet my husband…this Thanksgiving marks our 7 year Anniversary, so this visit is definitely overdue!
Of course, this trip is more than just a social visit for me :), my family and I will be going the Anandi Ma’s ashram in Nikora, Gujrat for a month-long meditation retreat. Some of my best spiritual experiences have taken place at this ashram so I can only imagine what an amazing month it is going to be. The ashram is located on the banks of the Narmada River…which is not only break taking, but truly one of the most peaceful places on earth (I can’t wait to share pics with you all!).
I will definitely be posting my pictures and fun finds on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter over the next 6 weeks, so if you’re not following me yet on these mediums…I hope you do…as I’d love to share my journey with you!
Once again, I’m astonished it’s November already, the past month has been busy, busy, busy…I had some fun design projects to work on…my favorites were a commissioned art piece for a friend whose daughter just had a baby and a holiday card for a family living abroad for the year.
I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love…so thank you all for helping make my dreams a reality!
Wishing you the happiest holiday season and the brightest new year!
xo,
Kajal
I am so happy for you and all of my fellow devotes going to chant in world peace and joy. While removing all the unnecessary samsacaras. What great good fortune. We will keep the home fires burning. All love to you, my friend.
