HOME REMEDY: for colds, flus and tickles in the throat.
About 20 years ago, when I was in my mid-teens, I was suffering from a serious cold and a deep mucus-y cough the had developed from when I had the flu…it had been going on for a few weeks and nothing my doctor prescribed had a lasting effect on me. I was so tired and frustrated. The antibiotics would alleviate some of my symptoms, but once I ran the course of the medication, my symptoms would come back…not to mention the side effects of antibiotics that my body would have from taking those drugs.
Then one day, my mom and I were talking with my Aunt and she immediately gave my mom a few home remedies to make… of which, I have found this one to be the MOST helpful. Now, when I feel a hint of a cold, scratchy throat, flu, etc coming on, I immediately make this paste and take 2-3 times a day, until I feel better.
This remedy has an all-star line up of ingredients:

Thanks again Kajal for sharing this great information. I remember being told to take 1 tsp turmeric in warm milk for a sore throat but it always seemed to strong and the milk seemed to cause more mucous. This remedy sounds wonderful.
I also use this method and it always works. Here is another one which can help you to cure your cold:
